Day 1
Transfer Posadas – Pellegrini Irupé Lodge by 4x4. Check-in. Relax. Dinner and night Irupé Lodge.
Day 2
Boat safari into the Wetlands to watch wildlife. Lunch. Guided Trekking to the monkey jungle (nature trail and museum) followed by boat safari into other part of the wetlands to observe wildlife and the sunset over lake Iberá. Dinner and night Irupé Lodge.
Day 3
Morning time to relax or optional excursion. Lunch. 3 to 10 pm afternoon and evening trekking or horse ride to visit small Estancias. Getting to know the everyday life of the gauchos and the craftsmen far off electricity, cars and mobile phones. Moonlight horse riding. Authentic dinner at a gaucho family’s home. Night Irupé Lodge.
Day 4
Transfer by 4x4 Pellegrini – Posadas. Check-in and lunch at Estancia. Guided visit to the estancia with owner (by horseback, on foot or 4x4). Horse riding and watching the gauchos daily work. Dinner and night Estancia.
Day 5
Private transfer Estancia – Moconá. On the way visit to the Jesuit ruins at San Ignacio. Lunch on the way not included. Other options to see during the drive: Tobacco plantations, hidden waterfalls, biological fragrance factories. Dinner and night jungle lodge, near Colonia Paraíso, at River shore.
Day 6
Boat adventure trip to the Moconá Falls and guided walk with park ranger through the nature reserve (biosphere reserve Yaboti). Dinner and night jungle lodge.
Day 7
Drive Colonia Paraíso – Eldorado. Lunch on the way not included. Visit options: Birth house of Che Guevara or private orchid farm of German immigrantsor aquarium with native fish or adventurous drive along a wild red-soil path through the jungle (there is time for 1 to 2 stops). Check-in Estancia near Eldorado. Dinner and night Estancia.
Day 8
Guided visit to the estancia with owner. Horse riding or trekking or canoe trip on the estancia interne river. Lunch at Estancia. Transfer Eldorado – Iguazú. On the way guided visit to semiprecious stone mine. Arrival at Iguazú hotel (Argentinean side) at 6 pm.
* Option transfer in from Corrientes airport (4x4) from USD 60 extra per person.
Option private air charter transfer by Piper or Cessna connecting Posadas with Irupé Lodge from USD 152 extra per person (depending on type of plane and number of passengers).
