Day 1
Transfer from the Airport to hotel of choice. Half day visit to the Iguassu falls, Brazilian side, where it is possible to have a magnificent panoramic view of the entire falls. Free afternoon. Night at the hotel.
Day 2
Full day excursion to the Iguassu falls - Argentinean side, visiting the upper and lower trails making an extended walk, watching majestic and impressive waterfalls immersed in the jungle. Arriving after a 1km trek to the majestic Devil´s throat, a singular experience, where the refreshing mist caused by the force of the water will leave you impressed. Night at the hotel
Day 3
Transfer by 4x4 to Colonia Paraiso, during the way, visit a semi – precious stone mine, where you will find quartz, amethyst, agate and topaz crystals among others or a Yerba Mate factory, where it is possible to see the elaboration process of this plant. Lunch on the way (not included). 6 pm approx arrival time at the Lodge. Relax, dinner and night at the Lodge.
Day 4
Boat adventure to visit the Moconá falls - a 2km long transversal drop with waterfalls up to 2 meters long. Lunch. In the afternoon guided walk with park ranger through a virgin jungle, inside the Yabotí Biosphere reserve. Dinner and night at the Lodge.
Day 5
Adventure in 4x4 from Moconá to the Iberá Wetlands – Irupé Lodge, during the way, guided visit to the Jesuit missions of San Ignacio, declared world heritage by UNESCO. Lunch on the way (not included). 6 pm approx. arrival at Irupé Lodge, relax. Dinner and night at Irupé Lodge.
Day 6
Morning visit to the Iberá nature reserve centre. Guided walk through the park museum and the surrounding jungles observing howler monkeys, capybaras, swamp deer, forest birds, etc... With park ranger guide. Lunch. Afternoon boat safari into different areas of the Iberá swamp. You’ll experience an incredible amount of wildlife such as alligators, capybaras, swamp deer, giant otters, birds etc… finishing in the late afternoon where you will witness the sunset over the lake. Dinner and night at Irupé Lodge.
Day 7
Horse ride or horse carriage excursion through the village of Colonia Carlos Pellegrini and its surroundings. You will get to know its adobe houses, the sandy tracks, the coast of lake Iberá, the palm tree forests and Pellegrini’s history and anecdotes. Lunch. Transfer in 4x4 to Posadas. End of our services.
